- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 cups pure pomegranate juice
- 1 cup fresh squeezed orang juice
- 1 tablespoon zest from orange pell
- Mint sprigs and pomegranate seeds
Dissolve sugar and water in a saucepan. Remove from heat and cool completely. Once cooled, add pomegranate juice, orange juiec and zest. Transfer mixture to ice cream maker and process according to instructions. Freeze sorbet in covered container until firm.
When ready to serve, garnish with pomegranate seeds and a fresh spring of mint.
