Guacamole with Pomegranate


  • 1/3 cup white onions, finely chopped
  • 2 serrano chiles, finely chopped, with seeds
  • 1 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 4 large ripe avacado
  • 4 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 3/4 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 4 tablespoons cilantro


In a food processor, grind onion, chiles, and salt and cilantro a coarse paste. Add paste to peeled, cored and chopped avacado. Mash with fork to desired consistency. Stir in the lemon juice and fold in the pomegranate seeds.
