Ingredients:
12 Oz Cranberries (Fresh or Frozen)
1 Pear, diced
1 /4 orange juice
1/4 cup water
1/4 teaspoon cloves
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1/4 cup sugar (or to taste, depending on how sweet or tart you want your sauce!)
Seeds of 1 Pomegranate
Orange Zest for garnish
Directions:
Rinse the cranberries, and place them, along with the diced pear and orange juice and sugar in a medium sauce pan. Add spices. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat so that the sauce is at a steady simmer. Simmer for 10 minutes, or until it has reached the desired consistency. If you would like a thinner sauce, add more water or juice. Let cool. Stir in pomegranate seeds, and garnish with 2-3 teaspoons of orange zest. Enjoy!
